Dedicated to the power and individual beauty of the female form, the Woman collection is focused on the figures of 11 volunteered models, showcasing body diversity and the incredible story of each woman.

Participants responded to a social media post from John asking for women to volunteer for a women-only nude photography shoot to embrace and be proud of their bodies. The images were then used by John to create a portrait of each model in his well-known bold use of vibrant colour and signature gold lines. The call out attracted the attention of hundreds of followers, with models including a breast cancer survivor, influencer and mother.

Commenting on the collection, John Charles, said: “I have been dabbling with life drawings and nude pieces for a while and I wanted this collection to be a showcase of the differences and strength of the female body. The photoshoot was an incredible day. This process has enabled me to meet 11 of the most amazing, inspiring women I have ever had the honour to work with and it has been an honour to paint these beautiful individuals. I can’t wait to showcase this collection on 30th July 2022.
