This painting belongs to JC’s Light & Darkness collection, a body of work inspired by the way light interacts with the world around us. When light meets a surface, it can completely alter how we perceive it, casting shadows, creating depth, and shifting mood. These contrasts invite the viewer to see the subject not as fixed, but as something that evolves depending on where the light falls.
Created using a palette knife and finished off with JC's signature Golden Lines.
